Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit the vibehit.live website and when you use the VibeHit application – and what rights you have.

Controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the vibehit.live website and the VibeHit application.
2. In short
VibeHit is a Windows application that lets you put music, sounds and your own voice into your game's microphone – made for GTA-RP and other games with voice chat. On vibehit.live you can download the app for free and buy the add-on version "VibeHit Pro".
We are deliberately sparing with data: the app runs without telemetry – your settings and playlists stay on your PC. On the website we use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and we embed no services such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel.
This policy has two parts: Part A covers visiting the website, Part B covers using the app.
PART A – VISITING THE vibehit.live WEBSITE
3. Server log data (hosting)
When you open the website, technically necessary data is sent to the server and stored briefly in log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, and the browser and operating system used. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the prevention of attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically sound and secure operation of the website).
Hosting: The website is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre within the EU. Hetzner processes the data as a processor on our instructions.
Retention: Log data is automatically deleted or anonymised after a short period, unless it is exceptionally needed to investigate a security incident.
4. Buying VibeHit Pro
When you buy VibeHit Pro, we process the data needed to fulfil the order: your email address, the order data (product purchased, price, time) and the associated licence key. Payment itself is handled through the payment service provider Stripe.
You enter your payment details (e.g. card or bank details) directly with Stripe; we do not receive them in plain text, only confirmation of the payment. The provider is Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland. Stripe's privacy notice applies in addition (stripe.com/privacy).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the purchase contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with statutory retention obligations for invoices and accounting records).
Retention: We keep order and invoice data for as long as tax and commercial law require (usually several years). Licence data is stored for the term of the licence.
5. Sending the licence key by email
After your purchase we send you the licence key by email. To send such transactional emails we use the provider Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor. This involves your email address and the content of the message.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (delivery of the purchased product).
6. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message) in order to answer your enquiry. The form is technically protected against spam (an invisible "honeypot" field); no additional personal data is collected for this. When submitting, you expressly confirm that your details may be processed to handle your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract.
Retention: until your enquiry has been fully handled; we then delete the data unless retention obligations apply.
7. Partner programme
Through the partner form (partner.html) you can apply for our streamer partner programme. We process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, channel/platform, approximate viewer numbers, message) to review your application and set up the partnership.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiating and carrying out the partnership) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Retention: for the duration of the cooperation or until the application is declined, after which the data is deleted subject to statutory obligations.
8. Cookies and language setting
We use only technically necessary cookies or local storage that are required to operate the site – in particular to remember your chosen language and the contents of your shopping cart. We do not set cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising purposes and do not transfer data to advertising networks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working website). No separate consent is required for strictly necessary storage.
PART B – USING THE VibeHit APP
9. What stays on your device
VibeHit runs without telemetry. Your settings, profiles and playlists stay locally on your PC and are not transmitted to us. The app does not interfere with the game: no injection, no access to game memory, no keyboard hooks – VibeHit works only with Windows audio.
10. Licence check and device management
When you unlock VibeHit Pro with your licence key, the app validates the key against our server. This transmits and stores the licence key (which we store only as a verification value / "hash"), a device identifier, a device name you choose, and the app version. This ensures that a licence is active on at most two PCs at the same time, and you can move it to another PC in the app at any time. The app periodically re-checks the validity of the licence with the server.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the purchased service) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against unauthorised use).
Retention: for the term of the licence; deactivated device entries are removed afterwards.
11. Phone remote control and AFK mode
You can control VibeHit from your smartphone via a QR code. In AFK mode, a live picture and game audio can be sent to your phone, and you can keep talking in-game through your phone's microphone. This content (picture, audio, voice) is exchanged encrypted and directly between your phone and your PC. A connection broker/relay service may be used to establish the connection between the two devices; it has no access to the transmitted content. The content is not stored by us.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the feature you use).
12. Music from third-party services
VibeHit can play music from your own files as well as from services such as YouTube, Spotify or SoundCloud. When you use such a service, the connection is between you and that provider, and the provider's terms of use and privacy policy apply. We do not receive any login credentials or usage profiles from these services.
13. Automatic updates
So that you always run the current version, the app automatically checks for updates and installs them. This transmits technically necessary information such as the current app version and the IP address.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (provision and security of the software).
GENERAL
14. Recipients and processors
We share personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes described. The service providers we use process data as processors on our instructions and under a data processing agreement:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting, Germany)
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (payment processing, Ireland)
- Resend, Inc. (sending transactional emails, USA)
We do not share your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell it.
15. Transfers to third countries
Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA (for example Resend in the USA), this is done on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or a recognised adequacy decision, in order to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
16. Retention at a glance
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Server log data is deleted shortly; order and invoice data is subject to statutory retention periods; licence data is stored for the term of the licence; enquiries are deleted once resolved.
17. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, at any time, the right to:
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal message to info@vibehit.live is enough to exercise your rights.
18. Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Hungarian data protection authority:
Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9-11, 1055 Budapest, Hungary (naih.hu).
You may also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence.
19. Note on the right of withdrawal for digital content
VibeHit Pro is digital content provided to you immediately after purchase via a licence key. With your express consent to immediate delivery and your acknowledgement that this causes your right of withdrawal to lapse, we begin providing it straight away. We process this information to carry out the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
20. Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this policy if our data processing changes or legal requirements make it necessary. The version published on vibehit.live applies.
